City first team manager Kenny Shiels handed the 19-year-old his senior competitive debut three weeks ago as a second-half substitute in Derry’s 5-0 win over Limerick FC.
The talented winger was also named Derry City U19 player of the year for the 2016 and 2017 seasons.
Well done to Derry City U19 player Adrian Delap on being presented with the Man of the Match award in the All Ireland Collages Final which was played at Markets Field, Limerick on Wednesday.
The Letterkenny Institute of Technology were beaten by Six in a row Champions Carlow IT 1-0 in the final.
Adrian has been an important member of John Quigg’s under-19 panel since making his debut in September 2015 and the promising winger is currently on the periphery of Kenny Shiels’ first team panel.
